About Us

Pioneer mental health foundation is a registered non-profit charity-based foundation in Kenya under the Companies Act Section 55 of the Constitution of Kenya.

It is non governmental organization that provides psychosocial empowerment to teannageers who are pregnant, street families, victims of gender based violence, Does mental health trainings to groups and and institutions, outpatient rehabilitation for clients of sabstance abuse

Our History

 Since inception, we have distinguished ourselves as leaders in health and development, particularly mental health in Kenya.  

Over the last few years we have been implementing programs in Kenya, we have developed A Model for Mental Health and Development which takes a holistic approach to mental health care comprising elements of capacity development, community mental health, livelihoods support, research and influencing policy and practice. We have a long history of developing pro-active approaches to mental well being, as well as delivering reactive clinical mental health services to those in need.

Through such programs, we have managed to directly reach and positively impact over 5000 people.
